Publishing by Kevin W. Wright with Deborah Powell

I've got a carton of manuscripts I could publish.

KevinHikeGapHike1200px0878jpgKevin got out three books before he passed away in October 2016.  The Bridge That Saved a Nation, Bergen County, New Bridge and the Hackensack Valley  comes out October 28, 2019, Kevin was working on the book that fall. The book covers geology, Native American history, colonial settlement/Jersey Dutch, American Revolution, Major-General Baron von Steuben, post war and saving the state-historic site, the Zabriskie-Steuben House, in the Hackensack Valley. The manuscript - 64,700 words, captions - 3,142 words, endnotes - 3,828 words, and 79 images includes three maps I created.  I hope to have copies available for sale October 27 at New Bridge Landing - Harvest Homecoming where I'll be speaking on the History of New Bridge.

With this website (njpast.com) I hope to add pages on the journey to get here, some of Kevin's music (yes, he liked to write music too!), other and future publications and updates. Several songs are on YouTube, visit: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC11N_66EtbQs_w5_FhtJj1Q

The books listed below are available on Amazon or in the Bergen County Historical Society's (BCHS) gift shop at Historic New Bridge Landing. I'm making all royalties from the sales of The Bridge that Saved a Nation go to BCHS.  Photo:  2015 Hike up Mount Minsi at the Delaware Water Gap.  This update: October 2019.
